What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses a specialised piece of equipment called a Reformer that gives support and adds resistance to your body for your pilates practice. It's a versatile way to build strength, improve mobility and flexibility, develop balance and co ordination, and become more aware of how your body moves.
At TLC Pilates Jsy, Reformer classes are kept small, with maximum of six people. This means you get individual guidance within a friendly group setting, with exercises adapted and progressed to suit you.

Why Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates can be adapted to suit different bodies, abilities and experience levels. The resistance from the springs provides support when you need it, or add challenge as you progress.
Regular practice can help you develop:
-
Strength and stability - particularly through your core, legs and upper body.
-
Mobility and flexibility - helping you move more freely and comfortably.
-
Balance and coordination - improving control and awareness of your movement.
-
Posture and body awareness- learning to move with greater control and precision.
-
Confidence in movement - building strength and understanding what works for your body.
The Reformer is incredibly versatile, which means exercises can be adapted, modified and progressed. That's one of the things we love about it at TLC - there's always somewhere to go with your Pilates practice
Why TLC Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is about more than simply moving through a set of exercises. At TLC, we focus on how you move, how your body feels and what you need from your practice.
Withe a maximum of six people in class, you get plenty of individual attention while still enjoying the energy and encouragement of a small group.
Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities, bodies and experience levels, and progressed as you get stronger and more confident.
Whether you're completely new to Reformer Pilates or have been practicing for years, our aim is the same: to help you move well, feel stronger and find what works for you.
