Mat & Tower Pilates
Mat and Tower classes combine contemporary mat exercises with the use of the tower by adding in resistance and/or assistance to exercises.
Using springs attached to a roll bar or trapeze bar or even loops for hands and feet to help guide you through the more difficult mat exercises to create the tension your body needs, to then be able to replicate the same feel without the external tension when doing the exercise without assistance.
Also using resistance can help increase the intensity of an exercise to push you harder, further and stronger.
The tower adds a dynamic to mat work and expands the repertoire of exercises available.
